Wise Guy Pizzeria opened their doors in September 2017 in Ban Pong Ratchaburi, promising to serve up a much needed alternative to the pizza game in Thailand.
Wise Guy’s will be taking on the job of serving up traditional thin crust Italian woodfired pizza’s, Italian soda, calzone’s and spicy buffalo wings.
The concept, money and brains behind that restaurant has been brought to life by a local Australian, who has a long history in marketing, management, customer service and graphic design.
These things will bring together a location that has a vintage mafia style experience for the customer as well as the new local experience of wood fired pizza’s.
The menu includes some unique meats, chicken and vegetarian options, all sourced in Thailand. At the time of opening, there is also a wide range of cheese available on the different pizza’s, from mozzarella, baby bocconcini, parmesan and feta.
It’s a family concept, with his wife doing all the hard work on the topping and his brother inlaw working the kitchen making every pizza and calzone from scratch.
No frozen pizza bases here, just fresh dough prepared inhouse daily and local produce used.
The pizza oven will be a traditional brick woodfire setup, custom made, allowing fast turnaround for dine in, New York style “buy a slice” (unique for Thailand), take away and also speedy local home delivery.
Starting out with a small menu will ensure every pizza is cooked to perfection. Adding something unique to the pizza shop, they will be the first shop in Ban Pong to start accepting Bitcoin for payment of your table bill.
Wanting to dine in after a hard day at work, enjoy one of their pizza’s with an ice cold Chang or Leo beer.
This great new concept is sure to be a hit with young and old alike and offer a unique experience and a brilliant menu.
