Wat Nong Hoi Ratchaburi is located in the Khao Raeng Sub-District, Muang District, Ratchaburi, about 12 kilometers away from the city heart. It was constructed in 1873. Located on the top of a mountain, it is clearly visible and dominated the top of the hill. The temple is extremely popular with local Thai people in the province and surrounding areas due to it's sacred heritage. There are 2 Guan Yim monasteries located on the site. The temple has a definite Chinese feel to it, with many Chinese angles such as Cai Seng Ia Sung, the angel of luck and wealth, Phra Sangkajjai holding gold, and Ji Gong. Within the monastery you will be able to purchase golden joss sticks (candles) and present them to the many statues and icons. Spending time walking around the temple, you will also be welcomed by the many monkey's that consider the sacred site home. How to get there by car: The temple is approximately 13 kilometres. from the town along the Khao Ngu–Boek Phrai Route. Tourists can drive up to the area of the Wihan.
