Some Thai friends, including my wife (owner at Wise Guy Pizzeria) attempt the Carolina Reaper Challenge at Wise Guy Pizzeria in Ban Pong Ratchaburi. I brought the chillies back from Australia on my last visit.
The Carolina Reaper chilli is rated at around 1’500’000 Scolville units, when you look at the Thai Birds Eye Chilli, it is rated at 100’000, so the Carolina Reaper is more than 15 times stronger in heat.
