The park is popular with both locals and tourists alike, and had bamboo platforms for you to sit, have some food and chill out in these magnificent surroundings.

It is located approximately 160km from Bangkok, and 60km north of Kanchanaburi. You can easily catch a bus to Kanchanaburi and then take a tour to the falls, or even hire a scooter and ride out there yourself.

The national park has many street vendor style food outlets, and even two 7-eleven shops in case you forgot to bring some food with you. Remember alcohol is not permitted within the falls area.

If you venture up the road from the falls, you will stumble across the Sri Nakarin Dam.

This dam surprisingly produces approximately 41% of all of Thailand electricity needs.

There are many hotels and even camping in and around the Erawan Falls in case one day just isn’t enough for you to explore all the natural wounder this national park has to offer.
